Shining Light Transitional Home for Young Adults uses EASE CRM to send secure electronic signature requests by text message. This page explains how clients agree to receive these messages.
How clients agree
During a meeting in person or by phone, a Shining Light staff member reads the consent script below to the client. The client’s answer is recorded in EASE CRM together with the date, time, the version of the wording used and the staff member who recorded it. No text messages are sent unless the client says yes.
Receiving text messages is optional and is not required to receive services or sign documents. Clients who say no can sign in person.

Do I have your permission to send text messages to your mobile phone containing a secure link to review and electronically sign your Individual Support Plan, along with a separate six digit verification code?
These are informational messages related only to your electronic signature request and identity verification.
Message frequency varies depending on signing requests, verification attempts, and any reminders.
Message and data rates may apply.
Receiving text messages is optional and is not required to receive services or sign your ISP.

What clients receive
- A text message with a secure link to review and sign their document. The link expires after 15 minutes.
- After opening the link, a separate text message with a six digit verification code. The code expires after 5 minutes.
- Text messages never include health information or details about the client’s services.

“Shining Light Transitional Home: Your verification code is 123456. It expires in 5 minutes. Do not share it. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP at any time to stop messages. Reply HELP for help, or call +1 980 677 5755. Messages are sent from (877) 713-8090.
